This evening we attended a local Theatre in Lanzhou. The performances were very beautiful but once again the 'Dance of the Thousand Buddha Hands' stole the show.

Two local young people, Scott Hay and Marcia Jones, were chosen to spend four months this year in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu, for four months, funded by the Gansu provincial government.They will attend university, learn Mandarin and be immersed in the culture and history of China. They will spend time in the Gansu Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and visit various sites of cultural and historical interest in the Province - CCC Sister Cities Website
